Bernardes + Jacobsen Architecture was founded in 2001 as a partnership between Paulo Jacobsen and Thiago Bernardes, later on joined by Bernardo Jacobsen in 2005. The office is a consequence of a story that crosses three generations and that has a portfolio of more than 1000 projects, always with a distinctive architecture that privileges comfort and simplicity, translated in a sophisticated and natural aesthetics through the use of constructive elements and materials in perfect harmony with nature.

BJA develops architecture and city planning projects in Brazil and abroad with a staff of over fifty collaborators in its offices of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, promoting a rich exchange with professionals from many nations and investing in the professional growth and development of its team.
